Cowin Equipment representatives Phillip Wyse (L) and Jason Brown will be serving southern Mississippi Takeuchi sales. Takeuchi-US, a manufacturer of compact equipment, announced Cowin Equipment Company’s expansion into southern Mississippi to include: Lamar, Forrest, Perry, Stone, Harrison, Jackson, George and Greene Counties, in addition to Washington County, Ala. Cowin Equipment Company carries the full line of Takeuchi compact earthmoving equipment, including compact excavators, compact track loaders, compact wheel loaders and skid steer loaders as a full-service authorized distributor, and the company serves the Takeuchi rental business.

Berg Steel Pipe Corp. has been a staple in Panama City, Fla., since the plant opened in 1980. Chance Suggs, manager of the shipping department, has been with the company for 21 years. Recently, the company needed loaders for shipping operations. Suggs compared other brands, but decided to go with Volvo. “I got with Jim Oyler of Cowin Equipment Company, and the products sold themselves from there,” said Suggs.
