We don’t do what we do to win awards. While, yes – the trophy is nice – we don’t put in the hard work and long hours simply for recognition. At its foundation, Cowin is built on the mission of dedicated customer service. We strive to meet and exceed customer expectations for quality every time. Our loyal customer partnerships are built on years of consistent service and unparalleled expertise, not on awards.
That being said, it is certainly nice to be recognized as a leader in the industry for sales and service! We are thrilled to announce that Cowin Equipment Company, Inc. was presented with the 2017 Dealer of the Year Award at the Volvo Construction Equipment North America Dealer Summit. This summit allows Volvo dealers and product support teams to get together for several days of meetings and break-out sessions. The summit ends with an annual awards banquet. To be recognized among our peers for exceeding goals in rentals, product support, and market share was a huge honor. In addition to this prestigious award, Cowin was also awarded the2017 Governmental Sales Dealer of the Year Award for capturing the highest market share in 2017! This outstanding feat is thanks to the efforts of everyone on the Cowin Team, and, of course, thanks to our awesome customers.
The Cowin Team’s keys to success – consistency, quality, reliability, and teamwork – are reflected in these awards. Without this solid platform of customer service, we would never be able to exceed or even meet our sales goals.
In addition to these company-wide honors, we were also awarded two product support awards: Leader in Techline Call Quality and Leader in Claims Handling. The first award for Techline Call Quality is a testament to the daily work of our service technicians to input accurate, timely, and consistent techlines. This often-overlooked process, while tedious, is very important as it assists Volvo in troubleshooting problems and providing support. The Leader in Claims Handling award highlights our Warranty Department and our Service Clerks & Assistants. Hundreds of warranty claims are routinely filed each year, and it is thanks to our Warranty Department’s timely and accurate processing of this information that we received this award. Stephen Searcy, our Vice President of Product Support and Operations, offers “thanks to each co-worker for giving the ‘extra effort’ day in and day out, and helping make Cowin the success that it is.”
